LOCATION..

Woodford Green is part of the North London suburb of Woodford and is located in the London Borough of Redbridge. The area borders North Chingford, South Woodford, Buckhurst Hill and Highams Park. Woodford holds many properties built in the 1930,s with a smaller percentage from the Edwardian and Victorian periods.

TRANSPORT..

Being positioned on the Central Line access to and from Central London is easy. There are various bus routes linking Woodford Green to other nearby towns including Walthamstow, South Woodford, Chingford, Buckhurst Hill, Loughton and Chigwell. There is also good access to the M11 and M25.

ABOUT WOODFORD GREEN..

Woodford Green is surrounded by forests, lakes, country parks and many open spaces. The Woodford Broadway offers coffee shops, restuarants, many independent retailers and a Sainsburys Local. Sir Winston Churchill was an MP for Woodford and this is commemorated by a statue that was erected in 1959. Woodford Green Cricket Club is one of the worlds oldest cricket clubs and still plays on its original ground along the High Road.

Woodford and its neighbouring areas hold many fine state, independent and faith schools that include Churchfield’s Junior School, St Antony’s Catholic Primary School, Woodford County High School and Bankcroft’s School.
