LOCATION..

South Woodford is situated in East London and 9 miles north east of Charing Cross. It forms part of Woodford which includes Woodford Green, Woodford Wells and Woodford Bridge. South Woodford is served by the Central Line and its main shopping area is George Lane with a Marks & Spencer, Sainsburys and Waitrose supermarket. The area consists of a wide range of period properties alongside several recently built developments.

TRANSPORT..

South Woodford is served by the Central Line with two entrances to the station via George Lane. There are many bus routes that connect South Woodford to other parts of London, this includes the N55 night bus form Central London with all services generally wheelchair accessible. South Woodford sits at the junction of the the North Circular Road with the M11 beginning at the ‘Charlie Browns Roundabout’. There is also good access to the A1400 which which merges with the A12.

ABOUT SOUTH WOODFORD..

The main shopping area is situated around South Woodford station in George Lane. There are several major chain stores, restuarants, supermarkets and banks. The Odeon cinema is one of the oldest buildings in South Woodford and is protected with a listed building status. Being neighboured by Woodford Green and Snaresbrook Epping Forest with its fantastic nature trails is on your doorstep.

South Woodford and neighbouring Snakesbrook and Woodford Green have a range of sought after state, independent and faith schools including Churchfields and Nightingale School.
