LOCATION..

Buckhurst Hill is an affluent town which is located in the Epping Forest district of Essex. Being on the western edge of Essex it sits 10.7 miles north east of Charing Cross. Its closest neighbours are Woodford, Loughton and Chigwell.

TRANSPORT..

Buckhurst Hill is served by the Central Line with two stations, one at Queens Road and the other at Roding Valley. Nearby Chingford Station can also be used to reach London Liverpool Street and the Victoria Line at Walthamstow Central. The majority of bus routes running through the town are London Buses despite being outside the London Buses zone.

ABOUT BUCKHURST HILL..

Buckhurst Hill in recent years has been made famous by the television program ‘The Only Way is Essex’ and many of the businesses in the main shopping area of Queens Road are regularly used in filming. Also home to Buckhurst Hill Football Club which over the years has produced many a professional footballer. Queens Road has much to offer in the way of high end clothes stores, boutique’s and popular bars and restuarants.

Home to many good independent, state and faith schools including St Johns Primary School on the High Road, Buckhurst Hill. Adjoining areas also hold many fine schools.
